4 March 2016, Colombo, Sri Lanka: Playing his fourth and penultimate Round Robin game this morning, 15-time world champion Pankaj Advani continued winning his matches while not losing a frame. Defeating Thailand's Suriya Suwanasingh, 4-0 (101-72, 103-2, 100-27 and 101-18), India's Golden Boy scored breaks of 81, 85, 61, 80 respectively in all frames.

In his fourth of five Round-Robin Matches, Pankaj sits at the top of his group, with a total frame score of 16-0, having whitewashed his opponents in all 4 of his matches. Second in his group is Indonesian, Jaka Kurniawan who lags behind Pankaj with a frame score of 8, having won 12 frames and lost 4 in the last 3 matches he played. The two will face-off on Saturday, the ultimate day of the Round Robin stage.

Going into the last day of the stage, Advani was delighted at the way he was progressing saying, "Having won all frames of every match without dropping a single frame is the perfect momentum I needed to start this championship. Once we are into the knock-out stages, the pressure intensifies and having the confidence of these wins will surely help ease the pressure."
