Equifax India-IFC partner for Self-Help Group Credit Reporting

 by Najuka G M U M B A I ,AUG, 2017 – Equifax India, registered as Equifax Credit Information Services Private Limited (ECIS) , a global information solutions company, and International Financial Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, have signed a cooperation agreement to work together to deepen coverage of Self-Help Group (SHG) member data in credit bureaus and enable banks to use this data in credit appraisals. The agreement will promote financial inclusion and access to funds for women from lower income groups, by facilitating integration of SHG borrower data with credit bureaus. This will enable borrowers to get broader access to credit as lenders leverage this data to assess them on a more data-driven approach. The SHG movement continues to be a powerful tool for financial inclusion, and this project aims to build and strengthen credit data collection and credit bureau usage of individual SHG borrowers through a consultative approach. by Najuka G Mumbai, August, 2017: To spread the message and create awareness on the importance of organ donation, Mumbai Kidney Foundation in association with Septalyst Lifesciences Pvt Ltd organised a walkathon as part of Organ Donation Week. Septalyst Lifesciences is a Mumbai based super-speciality pharmaceutical company focusing on Nephro, Neuro & Critical care products & therapy. Both MKF & Septalyst, very strongly support the cause of organ donation. Around 500 students of Nagindas Khandwala College & NSS activists participated in this initiative. The 2 km walkathon started from Nagindas Khandwala College in Malad and ends at the College gate. by Najuka G Priyanka Goyat, the emerging queen of Indie Pop who rocked the music world in 2016 with her debut song 'Jimmy Choo' becomes the messiah of almost 1000 birds in Dwarka Village before the Independence Day. Priyanka who lives in Dwarka was always concerned to see trapped pigeons, parrots, doves and other birds on her way to Haryana, where she frequently travels to visit the ancestral home. With a heart as beautiful as her charismatic personality, Priyanka was always empathetic to see those caged birds. Many a time, she interacted with the villagers and requested them to emancipate the birds, but they did nothing except making a dead smile on her merciful petitions.
