Mumbai, September 2015: Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) presented ‘Fun, Food Lifestyle’ a consumer-oriented event, an initiative by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council to uphold Malaysian palm oil with urban Indians who are willing to enjoy delicacies and are health conscious as well received excellent response.  




The event started with the master-class conducted by incredible Chef. Martin Yan, a Chinese-born Hong Kong-American chef. He is a celebrated food writer & has an experience in hosting over 3,000 cooking shows broadcast worldwide.




‘Fun, Food Lifestyle’ was a fun-filled event where celebrities like Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Maria Goretti andChef Ripu Daman Handa shared a “kitchen-moment”.


The glamorous couple Soha Ali Khan & Kunal Khemu, showcased their culinary skills against each other to demonstrate delicious recipes cooked in palm oil. Soha was accompanied with the renowned Chef Ripu Daman Handa, winner of Masterchef India. Kunal too had a companion in this competition as Maria Gorreti was there to bring out some delectable delights cooked in Palm oil.



The evening had a fun and pulsating atmosphere which involved quick and entertaining activities and it kept the celebrities as well as the audience engaged. This gala affair witnessed interesting interactions and fun activities between the celebs and crowd present over there.

The best tip on cooking share your love for food were few of the other activities of the evening which saw people’s participation at large. The dishes were judged by the Masterchef from Malaysia and the event came to an end with a thrilling Bollywood dance performance.

Through this event MPOC aims to enhance the image of palm oil and creating better acceptance of palm oil through awareness of various technological and economic advantages (techno-economic advantages) and environmental sustainability, ”Tan Sri Datuk Dr.Yusof Basiron, CEO, MPOC”.

The second edition of ‘Fun Food Lifestyle ‘by MPOC aims to benefit the consumers, to impart information on palm oil’s benefits, dispel myths that they may have heard of and to have some fun at the same time.
