Pet Fed 2017: India’s Biggest Pet Festival Culminates its Debut Edition in Mumbai!

Mumbai, December 2017: Our furry little friends enjoyed their much deserved dedicated days to them as Pet Fed powered by Dogsee, India’s biggest pet festival, culminated its 2 day long Mumbai edition on 17 Dec 2017, Sunday at MMRDA Grounds, BKC. The event was graced by renowned celebrities and pet lovers including Dino Morea, Ashutosh Gowariker, Minissha Lamba, Pooja Chopra, Sumona Chakravarti, Aditya Thackeray, Chunky Pandey and Tina Ahuja, to name a few.

The cutest weekend of the year with 2000+ pets (dogs and cats) and 12000+ pet lovers and parents boasted of numerous activities the Security Dog Show, Good Dog Citizen Program and an Obedience Display! And if your pet got some cool tricks, Pet’s Got Talent, happening for the first time in India was the platform to show off. The pets even tried their paw at the Fashion Show and Temptation Alley. There were cash prizes in store for these activities.

Indian actress Tina Ahuja judged the fashion show of pets which was won by Rutuja Bhagat’s Pablo, a Labrador who took home a whooping amount of Rs. 15,000. The first and second runner-ups were Misha Shah’s Chihuahua Dior winning a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and Pranita Jasodia’s Shitzu Batuk Kanhai, winning cash prize of Rs. 5,000 respectively. 
 
Elated at the success of the event, Akshay Gupta, Founder, Pet Fed, said ‘’It was the first time that Pet Fed came to Mumbai and we are really happy to have received such tremendous response. We are quite satisfied with the turnout on both the days. We had a line-up of various new, exciting and engaging activities for pets and pet parents, which were very well appreciated by the audience. We have received great appreciation this year for Desi breed Dog initiative, Pets Got Talent & Fashion show of Dogs & Cats.’’
The Off Leash Play Area was hogged by pet dogs having a gala time at Agility have-a-go, trampolines, ball pools and doggo slides! Pet parents got a chance to up their GK at the Discover Dogs section, which was taken over by 11 dog breeds and mounted with uber cool facts. For those pet lovers who wanted to get home a bundle of joy but hadn’t found their furry partner yet, there was adoption camp where they could ‘tie-the-knot’.

With dogs and dogs all around, Pet Fed is the place for an yearly dose of Puppy Therapy! And for those pet parents who are more into being mastered than being the master, then the Cat Zone was where they ought to be. With 100+ stalls, food & drinks from multiple brands and a separate VIP Lounge, there was something for everyone at this pet festival.
