Mumbai: Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, Mumbai celebrated the 8th birthday of conjoined twins Riddhi-Siddhi, who were joined and have been separated via complex surgery. They were admitted in 2013 and their surgery was carried out in 2014. The celebration was done in the presence of doctors, nurses and hospital staff in the hospital premises on Saturday. Both the girls were looking like princess, and were extremely happy with the barbie doll theme cake.

The twins live in the hospital as their family members left them there. Now, the twins have turned 8, and have been online schooling during the pandemic.

Dr Minnie Bodhanwala, CEO Wadia Hospital Said, "Like every year, this year too we celebrated 8th birthday of the twins Riddhi-Siddhi with fervor who are the daughters of the hospital. The hospital takes care of all the medical expenses and other needs of the twins. Both the girls are fighters and very talented. It makes us extremely happy to see that the twins are leading a normal life now. Wo wish them a bright future ahead. Also, this celebration was like a much-needed respite to all of us from the stress due to the pandemic."
