Mumbai, 29th March, 2014: Leadstart Publishing & The Rotary Club of Deonar hosted the book launch of ‘The Helpline’ by Uday Mane at the Sivaswamy Auditorium, Chembur. The novel was released by profound and versatile actor, Padma Shri Paresh Rawal post his play ‘Dear Father’ which took place at the same venue.
Post his compelling and powerful performance in the play, Paresh Rawal graced the stage once again to release Uday Mane’s gripping fiction novel, ‘The Helpline’ which he spoke very highly about. Mr. Rawal also spoke about his passion for the arts and his love for venturing into all things creative, advising the guests to consider as a way of expression. The audience was mesmerised by the actor’s persona as he commended Uday Mane for his book and his tremendous story telling ability.
Author Uday Mane spoke about his journey that started from an idea and later developed into ‘The Helpline’ as we know it.

Every year, several teenagers in India attempt suicide because of failing relationships, dwindling careers, parent pressure or the competitive world. This story is about one such teenager, his early problems and the hurdles to cope with them. This story is about finding hope in the struggle. This story is about fighting for what you believe in and discovering your true identity. This is not a story about falling in love. This is a story of rising from a failed love story.
