ALVAREZ & MARSAL INDIA APPOINTS SUMAN JAGDEV AS SENIOR DIRECTOR IN THE CORPORATE SOLUTIONS GROUP

Suman Jagdev’s hiring bolsters firm’s automotive and industrial sector experience with a focus on transaction advisory and performance improvement

Mumbai  April, 2017 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its recently launched Corporate Solutions practice with the appointment of Suman Jagdev as a Senior Director. Mr. Jagdev will lead automotive and industrial sectors with a focus on transaction advisory and performance improvement.

Mr. Jagdev brings 15 years of experience advising clients on growth and business transformation programs across automotive, industrial equipment, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), metals and mining sectors. His expertise in strategic cost reduction, commercial due diligence, supply chain optimization and revenue enhancement will help strengthen the proposition of A&M India’s Corporate Solutions Group.

Prior to joining A&M, Suman served as a Director with PwC-Strategy& where he advised automotive and industrial equipment companies on market entry, growth and revenue enhancement programs. In that role, he worked closely with companies across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and auto components to address strategic issues aimed at achieving sustainable business performance.

Mr. Jagdev also served as a Project Leader with Accenture Management Consulting leading transformation projects across metals and mining, energy and EPC sectors delivering tangible bottom line results. He served as a Senior Manager with Deloitte India helping to advance innovation consulting services. Additionally, Mr. Jagdev was part of that firm’s global innovation network, charged with developing new advisory services. 

Mr. Jagdev earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and a post graduate diploma in business management (PGDBM) from Xavier Institute of Management. He is associated with industry bodies such as Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
