Dussehra, a time for celebrating the triumph of good over evil, brings vibrant festivities like stage dramas depicting the Ramayana, the fiery demise of demon effigies, and grand fairs. Actor-model and fashion influencer Akash Choudhary, known for his appearances in Splitsvilla 10 and Bhagya Lakshmi, recently shared his take on the joy of Dussehra celebrations.

Reflecting on the essence of Dussehra, Akash expressed, "Dussehra is such a beautiful festival with immense significance, even in today's fast-paced world. It's a reminder that good always prevails over evil, a message we all need. In our daily lives, it encourages us to stand up for what's right, fight against injustice, and muster the courage to face our inner demons. It's all about self-reflection and the hope that we can overcome any obstacle in our path with determination and virtue."

When questioned about the evil he believes should be eradicated from the entertainment industry and society in 2023, Akash stressed the importance of eliminating discrimination and inequality. He stated, "One of the evils that we should eliminate from the entertainment industry and society as a whole is discrimination and inequality. We should strive for a world where everyone is treated with respect and given equal opportunities, irrespective of their gender, race, or background. The path to goodness is one of inclusivity, diversity, and understanding. We should celebrate and support each other's uniqueness, fostering an environment where talent and merit are the sole criteria for success."

Regarding how Dussehra's message of righteousness influences his acting career choices, Akash shared, "Dussehra's message of righteousness significantly shapes the roles I choose to play. It guides me to select characters and projects that align with a strong moral compass. Even when portraying characters with moral dilemmas or gray areas, I ensure the ultimate message upholds justice and goodness. It's a constant reminder to use my craft to inspire and make a positive impact."

When asked about the portrayal of women in the entertainment industry and its contribution to female empowerment, Akash highlighted a noticeable shift. He stated, "We've witnessed a transition from stereotypical, one-dimensional roles to more intricate and empowered female characters. These portrayals mirror the genuine strength and diversity of women in society. They not only inspire and empower women but also prompt society as a whole to dismantle gender barriers and promote equality. Professionally, Akash is focused on collaborating with fashion brands. He's also working hard to fulfill his dream of starting his own production company, which he plans to reveal to the world later this year.
