Journey Designer by Webengage is all set to change the paradigm of marketing automation

Mumbai, July 26 2016: WebEngage, one of the India's leading SaaS companies, launched their latest product, Journey Designer. The product is a marketing automation tool which will let online businesses, from e-commerce to BFSI to travel to everything in between, visually design and implement their engagement plan across user’s lifecycle. It would give businesses a holistic view of the user’s interaction with their website and mobile app and accordingly create a targeted, coherent and triggered engagement across multiple channels.
Speaking on the launch. Avlesh Singh, CEO and Co-Founder, Webengage said, "Journey Designer is a drag-and-drop marketing automation solution that marketers can use to segment the customers and engage with them in real-time through highly personalized messages. Although the problem that it is solving is being invariably faced by all, the largest enterprises have solved it with expensive solutions like Adobe and Salesforce. But mid-sized enterprises — those with $10-$50 million in revenue a year — are typically underserved. We will be cheaper than Adobe or Salesforce." It took the team 9 months of development before finally launching it. The product would allow businesses to solve critical use-cases pertaining to their revenue. For instance, in e-commerce category where the retention rate is as low of 1% for some, it would let those companies holistically plan engagement to reduce app uninstall. Similarly, it would let a BFSI company to automate renewals for its insurance buyers or  travel company to identify and upsell to their premium customers. There could be numerous use-cases depending on what problem a business is striving to address. By virtue of being visual, the product is extremely simple and robust thereby diminishing the dependency of marketing on tech functions. Further, unlike other enterprise solutions, it is relatively quick to deploy. Journey Designer is set to reinvent the ways in which online businesses understand their user and communicate with them.
Flipkart has already signed up for ‘Journey Designer’ after several days of piloting. Webengage, with a clientele like Yatra, Makemytrip, Kotak Bank, eBay, has more than 35K+ businesses across the world and is expected to hit $10 mn in annualized revenue by end of this fiscal year.
