WTC Mumbai joins Mah govt’s
green drive

Mumbai, July 2016: The World Trade Centre, Mumbai joined the Maharashtra government’s two crore tree plantation project on Forest day by planting over 20 trees in its Cuffe Parade complex.
The tree plantation drive mobilised the entire workforce of WTC, Mumbai into a community of passionate tree lovers. Committing themselves to increase the green cover, the staff planted trees and even pledged to look after them.  M Goktug Bayri, senior commercial attaché of Consulate of Turkey, also planted a tree in the WTC complex.

“We are happy to join the state government’s ambitious tree plantation project.WTC Mumbai is a partnering in spreading this green revolution,” stated Y R Warerkar, Executive Director, WTC, Mumbai.
In the coming days, WTC Mumbai is planning to distributing saplings to nearby municipal schools.
