New Exhibition Director to Lead PALM Expo India 2013
MUMBAI, India - Diversified Communications India named Ramesh Chetwani, a 10-year veteran in marketing, sponsorships and event management to the post of Exhibitions Director, PALM Expo, India. The 13th expo and conference is slated for May 30, 31 and June 1, 2013 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) near Mumbai, India.

MUMBAI, India - Diversified Communications India has appointed Ramesh Chetwani as Exhibitions Director, PALM Expo, India, to lead the 12-year-old expo and conference. PALM Expo is India’s exposition for the pro sound, lighting, music production and pro AV industry. Chetwani brings 10 years of experience in marketing, sponsorships, and show management. Based out of Mumbai during his career, he is familiar with the production of the PALM and the venue.
Chetwani says, “I feel fortunate and excited I have an opportunity to work with Diversified, a leading global exhibition organiser. In 2012 India has witnessed a staggering 25 percent growth in this industry, which means it is the right time for the international manufacturers to represent their brands in India and the PALM is the destination. The PALM provides all the opportunities for business development to delegates from leading companies that look to the PALM as the doorway to establish distributorship and brand awareness in India. Matthew Pearce, Chairman, DCI, stated the objective is to inject the PALM with experienced talent to strengthen the team. “Since Diversified acquired the PALM in 2010, the show has grown tremendously. Today the PALM is twice as large and the attendance has grown to 11,000 visitors. It is our aim to attract international brands, and in building the many features and industry interactions at the show, Ramesh will lead the PALM team to fulfil the industry’s high expectations.
