Delhi, 30.03.2017: Radio City 91.1 FM, country's leading radio network, is all set to pay a retro tribute through its most loved retro music show, Radio City 91.1 FM’s Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi, to the city’s 84 year old cinema hall – Regal Theatre, which will bring down its curtains today.
Radio City’s RJ Ayaz on his show Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi will do a special feature highlighting the journey of Regal Theatre, opened in 1932. It is the city’s oldest and majestic theatre that started as a venue for ballets, plays and talkies and then became the most celebrated theatre for red carpet premiers for both Hollywood and Bollywood movies. Regal theatre will bring down its curtains today, by showcasing a grand premiere of two iconic blockbusters of the yesteryears “Mera Naam Joker” and “Sangam”. Radio City’s RJ Aadi will go LIVE from the theatre and share the audience reactions and sentiments and memories about the cinema hall.
