India’s leading multiplex operator INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX) today adjudicated the winner of its basketball spinning contest #SpinYourWayToNBA at the Mega Finale event held at INOX Megaplex at Inorbit Mall Malad, Mumbai. Mrityunjay Patidar from Bangalore spun the basketball for 4 minutes 27 Sec on his fingertip to win the contest. Mrityunjay Patidar has won an all-expenses-paid trip to US with a partner to watch NBA games LIVE. Mrityunjay edged out Kaizaad from Mumbai, who spun for 1 minute and 49 seconds, to emerge as the winner. Nihal Karkera from Mumbai stood 3rd with a spin of 1 minute and 3 seconds.The Mega Finale witnessed 6 finalists battling out for the winning spot.
INOX had announced the exciting contest called #SpinYourWayToNBA for its followers across the country as a part of its partnership with the NBA in India. The contest invited participants to spin a basketball on their finger tip, shoot a video of the same, and post it on social media. The participant spinning the basketball on the finger for the longest duration of time, stood a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to United States of America to watch NBA games LIVE. INOX received more than 700 entries from all parts of the country through various social media platforms and on-ground activations.

The winner, Mrityunjay Patidar, a yoga trainer by profession, amazed the audiences by spinning the ball for 4 minutes and 27 seconds to become the winner of the contest. He added, “I practice yoga and meditation which helps me concentrate well and stay focused. I also play a lot of sports, including Basketball. I recommend we all should incorporate physical exercise in our routine as it helps the body and mind. I never imagined while coming here that I will win this contest. I am very excited and thankful to INOX and NBA for giving this amazing opportunity of going to USA and watching NBA games live.”
