Neha Dhupia and Malaika Arora Khan launch WOES Women Oppose Evening Stubble and unveil their mandates for men Copy 300x198 Gillette Survey Launch ~88% of young women feel special when their boyfriend shaves for them in the evening

Bollywood megastars Malaika Arora Khan & Neha Dhupia come out in vocal support of the clean-shaven look, embarked on a mission of getting men to be clean shaven both in the mornings & evenings, if they want their partners to feel special.
They were supported by Nielsen’s study on over 1000 Indian women which uncovered that ‘Women Oppose Evening Stubble’. Through this movement, the stunning actresses are urging women to render full support by setting an ultimatum for the men, asking them to ‘Shave or Crave’.The ‘Women Oppose Evening Stubble’ study by leading market research agency Nielsen India echoes the sentiments of over 1000 Indian women from across the country who prefer their men clean shaven both in the morning as well as in the evening. The Bollywood beauties revealed that if women can spend time grooming themselves for their men in the evening, the men should do the same for their partners. Their belief has brought them to the forefront of advocating the ‘Shave or Crave’ movement to encourage their men to shave in the evenings too or else they will be left ‘craving’ the company of their women.
The WOES survey was conducted among 1500 people of which 1000 were women and 500 were men in 10 Indian cities; namely Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Indore, Nagpur and Lucknow. The survey was undertaken to understand the impact of the evening stubble on the level of intimacy shared by a couple and revealed highlights like 87% of women like their men clean shaven before a dinner night out.
Malaika Arora Khan and Neha Dhupia unveiled the results of the study and revealed to the world that women want their men to groom themselves especially for them by shaving off their stubble in the evenings as well.
According to Malaika Arora Khan, “Evening stubble is a big disappointment for women and a simple act by men of shaving in the evening will make women feel special if done especially for them. I personally believe that clean shaven men are more romantic and I second the claim made by 71% of young women who believe that a clean shaven man makes an evening date more romantic. So I urge women everywhere who feel the same way to make their men crave their company in the evening if they don’t shave.”
Neha Dhupia further added that, “A man who only shaves for his work and does not shave to look good for his woman definitely gives out the signal that he doesn’t care enough for her .I completely agree with the claim in the study which states 82% of women believe that a man shaves before work because he cares more about what his boss thinks than what his women needs. If a man expects a well groomed woman & also wants to make her feel special he should be willing to groom himself for her. I would not want to go out or be seen with a man if he does not shave in the evenings.”
Triggered by the survey, Neha & Malaika asked women to join the “Women Oppose Evening Stubble” movement by following the two ‘Shave or Crave’ Mandates if their men don’t shave “If you don’t shave off your evening stubble, we will make you crave us.”“If you are clean shaven in the evening, we will make you feel special.”The *Nielsen survey brought to light some interesting facts about women’s choices ·  71% of young women believe that a clean shaven man makes an evening date more romantic·    77% women between 20-29 and  79% of women between 30-40 agree that their partners could put in more effort to look better for them·         74% women between 20-29 prefer sleeping with a clean shaven man vis-à-vis a stubbled man·         71% of women between 30-40 would get intimate with their partner as an incentive for being clean shaven all day·         77% of unmarried women would like their boyfriend to shave before a night out·         82% of women believe that a man shaves before work because he cares more about what his boss thinks than what she needs·         88% of young women feel special when the boyfriend shaves for them in the evening·         71% of young women find stubble most irritating while kissing·         75% of young women get turned on to see their boyfriend shaving ·         72% of working women believe a clean shaven man is a must for a romantic evening·         70% of working women believe men who shave in the evening tend to be more gentle and caring during sex*Claims generated from men and women who were in agreement with the above statements by a Nielsen survey done across 10 cities in October 2012 and the above are a few excerpts picked up from the survey findings.
