Nayara Energy Selects Hughes India to Connect 3500 Retail Outlets by Satellite

The HughesON managed network solution will enable resiliency, bandwidth optimization, and integrated automation for the oil retailer by Priya J  New Delhi, June 02, 2021:    Hughes Communications India Private Limited (‘Hughes India’) today announced its selection by Nayara Energy, India’s largest private-sector oil retailer, to install, integrate and manage a satellite network solution across 3500 retail outlets. Hughes India is a majority-owned subsidiary of Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), an innovator in satellite and multi-transport technologies and networks for 50 years, and already connects more than 4,000 Nayara locations. The new, five-year contract, nearly doubles the HughesON™ managed deployment, making it the largest single satellite-based network in India’s retail petroleum sector.
