Pune’s Ibrahim claims Mumbai Falcons IeRC Championship

Gurgaon’s Amitesh Rao and Delhi’s Muskaan Jubbal also win titles by Priya J Mumbai, January : Pune’s Muhammad Ibrahim was crowned champion in the Pro Class while Gurgaon’s Amitesh Rao bagged the Junior Class title in the Mumbai Falcons Indian eRacing Championship in association with Volkswagen Motorsport India that concluded on Tuesday. 300+ registrations from over 40 cities were received  for Season 4 of the Mumbai Falcons IeRC. The introduction of new classes was a big boost to participation. Delhi’s Muskaan Jubbal won the Women’s Class while Akunuri Sri Abilash from Chennai and Kollam’s Steve George won a race each in the Amateur Class. Muhammed Ibrahim bagged Pole Position and went on to win both races in the last round of the Pro Class to establish himself as India’s best eRacer. The Kuala  Lampur  based 18-year-old  was  a class apart, winning 12 races of 16. He amassed a total of 683 points to comfortably finish ahead of Chennai’s Sai Prithvi (542 points)...

Bad cholesterol rise in youngsters during covid times, revealed study

A study conducted in Sept and Oct shows 1617 youngsters out of 2112 were having bad cholesterol by Priya J  Pune:  After unlock phase, high cholesterol cases have surged up in youngsters due to factors like work from home for longer hours, limited physical activity, and faulty eating habits. Kick-off your sedentary lifestyle to keep your cholesterol levels in check. A two-month study conducted by Apollo Diagnostics, Pune revealed that there is a significant rise in cholesterol levels. In the study, the sample size 2112 out of which 1413 were males and 409 were females. 30 people below 20 had bad cholesterol while the number was 1671 in the age group 20-40. 240 people in the age group of 40-60 whereas 171 people belonging to the age group of 60+ were known to have abnormal cholesterol levels. The state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped to provide 50,000 freshly cooked, nutritious meals to children. by Priya J Mumbai,January, 2021 : The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated The Akshaya Patra Foundation’s new centralised kitchen in Guwahati, Assam. Through this kitchen sponsored by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Akshaya Patra will endeavour to implement the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) Scheme in the state. The kitchen has a built-up area of 40,000 sq. ft., and the capacity to prepare 50,000 meals in three hours. Akshaya Patra will initially serve about 40,000 children in 600 Government schools in the region and gradually reach out to more children.
