Among patients who have undergone curative epilepsy surgery at the hospital, 87% are seizure-free at a minimum of one year follow-up. The milestone comes against a backdrop of significant unmet need in India. Epilepsy affects an estimated 0.8% of India’s paediatric and adolescent population. A majority of people with epilepsy develop the condition during childhood.
