   Zicom eyes consolidated revenue of
Rs 1,000 cr by FY'15

 Electronic security systems maker Zicom Electronic Security

Systems Ltd is eyeing a consolidated revenue of Rs 1,000

cr. by FY2014-15 from the Rs 700 crore last fiscal.

"Our group consolidated revenue was around Rs 700 crore

 in FY'13 and we expect to continue our growth and hope to

achieve around 15 to 20 per cent growth. We expect to clock

Rs 1,000 crore revenue by FY'15," Zicom Electronic Security

 Managing Director, Promoud Rao said.
The company's net profit rose 43.62 per cent to Rs 2.14 cr in

 the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1.49 cr.

during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose

17.99 per cent to Rs 82.76 cr. in the quarter ended March

2013 as against Rs 70.14 cr. during the previous quarter

ended March, 2012.

For the full audited year, net profit rose 128.17 per cent to Rs

8.10 cr. in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 3.55 cr.

during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales grew

21.42 per cent to Rs 266.41 cr. in the year ended March 2013

as against Rs 219.42 cr. during the previous year ended

March 2012.

Zicom has launched a new technology in CCTV called the

 'Push Video', which allows users to view live incident video

on their portable devises. The country's electronic security

market today is worth over a billion dollar, with CCTV

system accounting for over 70 per cent of the market. “There

has been a tremendous growth in the industry compared to

few years ago due to awareness about increasing crime

rates,” Rao said.
The company last year acquired Phoenix International in

Qatar, considering the growth potential in the Middle East

market. This year we have done around Rs 70 crore business

and next year we expect to witness over 30 per cent growth,

Rao said.
