Bank of Baroda bags First Prize under

 Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Shield Scheme 

for 3rdconsecutive year


Bank of Baroda has been awarded with the First Prize under Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Shield  Scheme of Govt. of India for outstanding performance in Official Language implementation under the category of nationalized banks in linguistic region “B”, for the year 2012-13.  The award was received by Shri P. Srinivas, Executive Director of the Bank at the hands of His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India in a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. 


Shri P Srinivas, Executive Director of Bank of Baroda is seen accepting the Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Shield from His Exellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble President of India also seen is Shri Rajnath Singh,  Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.


It is noteworthy that the Bank has received this First prize consecutively for 3 years.  Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs Shri Rajnath Singh and Smt. Neeta Chaudhary, Secretary(Rajbhasha), Govt. of India were present in the function.  Bank of Baroda takes pride on this great achievement and re-dedicates its commitment to take forward the Official Language implementation on an ongoing basis.
