Mumbai, 29th September, 2015: Senco Gold & Diamonds, one of the largest jewelry brands of the country, today announced the signing of the doyen of Indian sports, Mr Sourav Ganguly as their brand ambassador. Sourav will be seen endorsing the brand in major way as Senco Gold & Diamonds will have a 360 degree promotional plan across the country.



Senco Gold & Diamonds is a 78 year old legacy that stands for trust and craftsmanship. In the pursuit of reaching out to existing and new customers across India, Senco Gold & Diamonds was looking for a face who is from Bengal, well known across the country and at the same time will represent the brand attributes, that is, a leader who is traditionally rooted and yet contemporary in outlook.

By the end of 2016 would be having 100 stores across the country. We intend to double our turnover from domestic retail operations to Rs 2000 crore from the existing Rs 1000 crore by 2017 – 18. Plans are afoot to go or an IPO in two years time”, said Mr Suvankar Sen, Executive Director, Senco Gold & Diamonds.

Senco Gold & Diamonds, which has manufacturing units in Kolkata, Coimbatore & Rajkot besides having contract manufacturing facilities across the country, also plans to increase their jewellery production from 6 lakh pieces a year to 10 lakh pieces a year in two years’ time. The company will also give special focus in selling diamond jewellery. The advertising budget will also get a boost by … %. The company is planning to expand its exports to Singapore and Dubai markets from the coming year.
