§  Creates 46ft X 24ft largest surface art mosaic

§  Attempts for India Book of Records and Guinness Book of World Records

Navi Mumbai, April, 2019: Seawoods Grand Central Mall celebrates Master Blaster – Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar’s 46^th birthday with a unique #MasterBlaster46x24 mosaic artwork. Bespoke tailoring materials such as 1,00,000 buttons, 10,000 safety pins, 500 hangers, 4000 metres of chain zippers, over 50 measuring tapes etc. were used to create the 46ft X 24ft mosaic thereby making it the largest surface art. SGC Mall along with the artists aims to imprint their names in the India Book of Records and the Guinness Book of World Records with this masterpiece. The mall invites all its guests to witness this brilliant piece of art. 

Seawoods Grand Central Mall’s passion for cricket goes a long way. The mall had earlier etched its name in the India Book of Records for creating the largest clay diya mosaic of Virat Kohli along with celebrated artist Abasaaheb.

The artwork is the culmination of three creative teams who are also ardent Sachin fans – Umang Mehta, who came up with the vision and ideation in collaboration with Saish Kambli (Kambli Arts), Sachin’s fan Abhishek Nandkishor Satam and his Rang Resha team alongside Chetan Raut spearheading the execution.

Umang Mehta, a good friend of Sachin, is a contemporary bespoke design house and indo-fusion menswear label whose store is also set up on the same concept of tailoring tools. Rang Resha is a team of artists who have created many artworks using different objects.
