CHARTER PRESENTATION AND INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF ROTARACT CLUB OF RAJA BALWANT SINGH ENGINEERING TECHNICAL CAMPUS, AGRA

Agra, December , 2024 – The prestigious Charter Presentation and Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus was held with great enthusiasm and participation.
 
The Chief Guest, Rtn Lal Goel, Founder and Charter President of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International, and Chairman of the Organ Donation India Foundation & GYAN, formally presented the Rotary International Charter to Rtr Ashita Yadav, the Charter President of the newly established club. In addition, Rtn Lal Goel ceremoniously handed over the Gavel, Gong, Collar, and Flag to the Charter President during the event held at the campus. 

His Highness Hon’ble Raja Anirudh Pal Singh Ji, Chairman of the Governing Council of Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, extended his blessings to the members of the newly formed Rotaract Club. In his address, he assured the club of his full support and cooperation* in all its future endeavours.
 
Rtn Divyapal Sharma, President-Elect of the Rotary Club, expressed his optimism about the club's potential, hoping that it would actively contribute to raising awareness about Organ Donation in Agra and its surrounding areas.


The event began with a warm welcome by Director Prof B K Singh, who extended his greetings to all the dignitaries and attendees.
 
As part of the ceremony, Rtn Lal Goel presented the Rotary flag to His Highness Raja Anirudh Pal Singh Ji and Charter President Rtr Ashita Yadav.
 
In her acceptance speech, Rtr Ashita Yadav outlined the vision and mission of the Rotaract Club. She emphasized the club's commitment to creating awareness about Organ Donation and expressed her ambition to establish at least one Organ Retrieval or Transplant Centre in Agra, aiming to address the critical healthcare needs of the region.
 


The ceremony was graced by prominent Rotary leaders, including Vice-President Rtn Ritika Gupta, Secretary-Elect Rtn Ruby Agarwal, and Director of Youth Rtn Girdhari Agrawal, whose presence added to the event's significance.
 
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Principal Prof Dr Nitin Agrawal, appreciating the efforts of all stakeholders in making the event a grand success.
 
The establishment of the Rotaract Club of Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus marks a significant milestone in promoting youth leadership, community service, and Organ Donation awareness in the region.
 
Rtn Lal Goel expressed his gratitude to the District Governor of Rotary International District (RID) 3141, Rtn Chetan Desai, and Rotary International for their support in establishing a Rotaract Club dedicated to Organ and Tissue Donation outside District 3141. He also extended his appreciation to President-Elect Rtn D P Sharma, Club Advisor Prof Dr Nitin Agrawal, and Charter President Rtr Ashita Yadav for their invaluable support in forming the club.
 
Rtn Lal Goel expressed hope that the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International will continue to establish similar Rotaract and Interact Clubs across India in the near future.
