• MLA Shri Paragbhai Kishorbhai Shah and family to serve as the “Manorathi”

• Ramkatha organized in Mumbai to support Sadbhavana Vruddhashram’s mission of planting 151 crore trees across India

Last year, during the same period, world-renowned saint Pujya Morari Bapu delivered a heartfelt Ramkatha at Rajkot’s Racecourse Ground to promote the mother-service and environmental-service initiatives of Sadbhavana Vruddhashram. This year, to support the institute’s mission of planting 151 crore trees across India and contributing to the creation of a “Green India,” Pujya Morari Bapu will narrate Ramkatha in Mumbai from 22nd to 30th November.

With the intention of spreading devotion and fostering greenery across the nation, Pujya Bapu’s “Manas Vande Mataram” Ramkatha will be held at Acharya Atre Maidan, Ghatkopar, starting this Saturday. The Katha will run from 22 November (Saturday) to 30 November (Sunday). The opening session will begin at 4:00 PM on 22 November, followed by daily Katha sessions at 10:00 AM from 23rd to 30th November. The Manorathi (principal hosts) of this divine event are MLA Shri Paragbhai Kishorbhai Shah and family.

This Ramkatha is organized for the benefit of Vinubhai Bachubhai Nagrecha Bhavan – Sadbhavana Vruddhashram, and to support the nationwide mission of planting and nurturing 151 crore trees. Sadbhavana Vruddhashram is the world’s largest old-age home, providing lifelong, completely free care to destitute, childless, and ill senior citizens. Such events reflect not only Bapu’s spiritual discourse but also his commitment to constructive social work, promoting service, humanity, and national welfare.

For the past 10 years, Sadbhavana Vruddhashram in Rajkot has been providing shelter to over 700 abandoned and sick elderly, of whom 300 are bedridden and dependent on diapers. Considering the increasing need, a new, massive old-age home consisting of seven 11-storey buildings is being constructed at Rampar on Rajkot–Jamnagar Road. Spread across 15 acres, this state-of-the-art facility will include a temple, Annapurna dining hall, library, exercise area, yoga hall, medical center, gardens, community hall, and all essential amenities under one roof. This old-age home will have 1,400 rooms, built at a substantial cost of ₹400 crore. capable of providing lifelong care to over 5000 bedridden and helpless elderly individuals from across the country. In the last 10 years, the organization has planted and nurtured 1 crore 10 lakh trees—including 40 lakh protected trees and 70 lakh trees grown using the Miyawaki forest technique. Going forward, the Ashram aims to plant and sustain over 151 crore trees across India.

When Pujya Bapu conducts Ramkatha, it is not just a spiritual gathering; it inspires society toward service, reflection, and positive transformation.

All devotees and citizens are warmly invited to be part of this sacred event, listen to the divine nectar of Shri Ramcharitmanas, and partake of Prasad thereafter.
