Darbar-E- Taj releases a soul-stirring rendition of ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’ by Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia

In a special tribute to the upcoming Independence Day, Darbar-E-Taj, a YouTube channel dedicated to Indian classical music, is presenting a beautiful rendition of ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’ to mark the occasion. The initiative sets the stage for legendary Indian flautist Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia to enthral and enrapture Indian viewers with a beautiful, soul-stirring ode. The instrumental song is dedicated to the nation and its people, and has Pandit Hariji’s flute playing off of a subtle jugalbandi with the tabla. In a fitting end to the emotional high, Shubh, son of renowned playback singer Shaan, sings the first two lines of the poem sans any music. The young star-in-the-making will also soon be known as the voice behind a popular web series.
