72 students from Maharashtra to join 5,000 children worldwide for 21st UCMAS International Competition 2016, Dubai

Mumbai, 27th October 2016: CBS Education Pvt. Ltd, the master franchisee of UCMAS for State of Maharashtra (Mumbai Region) has selected 72 students to join 5,000 children worldwide to participate in the 21st Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) International Competition, Dubai which will be held on 11th November 2016. The competition is organised by UC International Corporation.

The directors of CBS Education Pvt. Ltd are Mr. C. D. Mishra, Mr. Bhanu Rajput and Mr. Sanjay Bhoir and according to them, “This annual arithmetic competition will help students to nurture their mental development at a very early age when brain development is reaching its peak.”

They further add, “Students who have been selected for this international competition went through two months of intensive practice and training at our various UCMAS centers.”

During the competition, participants will be solving 200 mathematical sums in just eight minutes with an amazing speed using abacus as well as their mental abilities. 

Around 5000 students within the age group of 05-13 years from 50 countries are participating. Winners at the international event will be presented with cash prizes and trophies.

UCMAS is an institution which runs all over India and abroad. It trains children of 4-13 years in arithmetic and enhances skills like concentration, creativity, listening and photographic memory, etc.
