RAJSINGH DUNGARPUR CUP U/15 CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Mumbai, 25 April : Mumbai Cricket Club & Ours Cricket Academy today registered their second straight wins in the CCI organized 1st Rajsingh Dungarpur Cricket Tournament for the under 15 boys. Mumbai Cricket Club today won the battle against Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Cricket Academy by seven wickets in Group “A” whereas Ours Cricket Academy defeated Dream 11 Vengsarkar Cricket Academy by 27 runs to make their points tally of 4 points in group “B”.

Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Cricket Academy who got two points yesterday today could manage just 109/7 in 20 overs against Mumbai Cricket Club. Apart from Prachit Amkar (38) and Shon Korgaonar (40) their none other batsman could resist against some fine bowling from Kartik Kumar (2/20) and Dhairya Desai (2/22). While chasing this target Aarav Thakkar (49) and Svanik Waghdare (45) scored 80 runs partnership for the second wicket to register their second straight win.

In the Afternoon session Salgaonkar Sports Club registered their first win in the tournament when they beat Avinash Salvi Foundation by 7 wickets. They restricted Avinash Salvi Foundation for 105/5 in 20 overs and then get this total by losing just three wickets.

Sanjeevani Cricket Academy who did not turned up yesterday, registered their first win when they beat CCI Kids Academy by 92 runs. They scored 158/3 in 20 overs as harsh Kadam 72 and Arnav Patil 21 scored for them. Then Anish Tambe 2/6 and Darshan Rathod 2/0 bundled out CCI Kids Academy for 66 runs in 17.1 overs.

Brief Scores – Ours Cricket Academy 108/4 in 20 overs (Om Malkar 18, Elton Soares 21, Vedant Patil 25, Kshitij Pal 30; Gajanan Narapgol 2/13) Bt. Dream 11 Vengsarkar Cricket Academy 81 all out in19.4 overs (Aayush Shinde 12, Vidhiraj Shukla 22; Vedant Patil 3/8, Aryan Bhuram 3/5).

Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Cricket Academy – 109/7 in 20 overs (Prachit Amkar 38, Shon Korgaonkar 40; Kartik Kumar 2/20, Dhairya Desai 2/22) Lost to Mumbai Cricket Club – 110/3 in 17.4 overs (Aarav Thakkar 49, Svanik Waghdare 45).

Sanjeevani Cricket Academy – 158/3 in 20 overs (Harsh Kadam 72, Yuvraj Mali 35, Jay Nadar 22; Arnav Ootam 2/26) Bt. CCI Kids Academy – 66 all out in 17.1 overs (Satyanarayan Ghuge 17, Varun Minbatliwalla 22; Anish Tambe 2/6, Darshan Rathod 2/0).

Avinash Salvi Foundation – 105/5 in 20 overs (Shravan Hajare 26, Arnav Patil 21; Anurag Rai 2/7) Lost to Salgaonkar Sports Club – 107/3 in 16.1 overs (Vihan Keswani 30, Darsh Pandey 18 n.o.).
