Ours C.A. Mumbai CC And Ageas Federal Vengsarkar C.A. win

Mumbai, 24 April : Ours Cricket Academy, Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Academy and Mumbai Cricke Club win easily their first league matches of the 1st Rajsingh Dungarpur Cup under 15 Cricket Tournament organized by CCI at Braborne Stadium in Mumbai. Ours Cricket Academy posted a big total of 183/2 in the allotted 20 overs against hosts CCI Kids Academy while batting first. Elton Soares with unbeaten 65 runs and with good support from Om Malkar (28), Darsh Thesia (31) and Vedant Patil (28 n.o.) posted a big total for their team. But CCI Kids academy could manage to score just 117/8 in twenty overs. Only Sumer Singh could score 38 runs for his team.

In another match Mumbai Cricket Club scored 150/5 in 20 overs against Avinash Salvi Foundation as Saif Khan (47 n.o.) and Kartik Kumar (49) scored prominently for their team. When Avinash Salvi Foundation try to reply them Kartik Kumar with his fine bowling took 4 wickets for just 9 runs and got good support from Shaurya Rai (2/13) and Dhairyasheel Deshmukh (2/12). They restricted their opponent for 79/9 runs.

Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Academy in the morning session bundled out Salgaonkar Sports Club for 74 runs in 19.4 overs and achieved this target in 16.2 overs while losing four wickets. Prachi Amkar scored 37 runs In the team’s win. Today in the morning session Sanjeevani Cricket Academy team could not turned out for the match against Dream 11 Vengsarkar Academy match and they got two points without playing. Every team gets two points for a win in the league matches. Best team in group will qualify for the finals to be played on 28th April.

Ours Cricket Academy – 183/2 in 20 overs (Om Malkar 28, Elton Soares 65 not out, Darsh Thesia 31, Vedant Patil 28 n.o.) Bt. CCI Kids Academy – 117/8 in 20 overs (Neeraj Dhumal 17, Sumer Singh 38, Aryan Desai 17 n.o.; Nameesh Patil 2/12, Krish Yadav 2/16).

Mumbai Cricket Club – 150/5 in 20 overs (Indraneel Nikam 23, Aakash Mangde 17, Saif Khan 47 not out, Kartik Kumar 49) Bt. Avinash Salvi Foundation- 79/9 in 20 overs (Shravan Hazare 40, Kartik Kumar 4/9, Shaurya Rai 2/13, Dhairyasheel Deshmukh 2/12).
