NATHANIEL FEREIRA’S DOUBLE TON ; DARSHAN RATHOD 6 WKTS

Mumbai, 25th May : Nathaniel Fereira become the first batsman to score unbeaten 202 in this year’s Dream 11 Cup under 14 selection Cricket Tournament. At Karnataka Sporting ground He scored unbeaten 202 for Sunil Gavaskar XI who scored 298 /10 in 79.3 overs against Ravi Shastri XI. He scored 58 runs for the third wicket with Mohammed Armaan Khan (50) and after losing 194 for 9 he again scored 104 runs for the tenth wicket with Veer Shinde, who could score just one run. Aarav Mahlotra who was most successful bowler for Shastri XI removed Veer Shinde and put full stop to their inning. But Nathaniel who faced 241 balls hit 29 fours and one six in his marathon inning. In another match played at Oval maidan Dilip Vengsarkar XI bundled out Sachin Tendulkar XI for 183 runs as left am spinner Darshan Rathod took 6 wickets for 47 runs and was well supported by medium pacer Devang Tandel with 4 for 43 runs. For Tendulkar XI Yuvraj Bhingarde (23), Aayush Shinde (53), Yug Asopa (27)and Vedant Gore (38) put some fight. At the end of the day’s play Vengsarkar XI scored 118/3 and are just 65 runs behind for taking first inning lead. Janmay Patil is batting with 45 runs.


Tomorrow after the end of the match prize distribution function will be held at Oval maidan.
