JUHI CHAWLA, DR SANJAY DESHMUKH, NIRANJAN HIRANANDANI PRESENT THE LITERARY AWARDS AND EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS BY PRIYADARSHINI ACADEMY

March 21, 2017: Priyadarshini Academy celebrated its 33rd Anniversary Literary Awards and Educational Scholarships program at the Walchand Hirachand Hall .
The event, which was jam-packed, saw the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai, Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh serving as the Chief Guest while Bollywood Actor, Entrepreneur and noted philanthropist; Juhi Chawla Mehta was the Guest of Honor.
Real Estate Mogul, Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani who is the Chairman at the Priyadarshni Academy, gave the welcome address, which was followed by the Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Nanik Rupani’s speech.
The Academy presented 380 scholarships to deserving and financially needy students pursuing different fields of study were also presented.  
Literary awards for work in the Hindi, Sindhi and Gujarati languages were presented to Mr. Akshay Jain, Prof. (Mrs.) Meena Gope Rupchandani and Mrs. Kaajal Oza Vaidya respectively for their outstanding contributions to the writings and teaching in these languages.  Each award carried a purse of Rs.25,000 and a handsome plaque. 
Juhi Chawla Mehta who delivered an extremely motivational speech praising the philanthropic activities of the members on stage, congratulated the winners of the Scholarship and the Literary Awards. Quoting Nelson Mandela, she said “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world”. She was happy to be at this function also as this as the right platform to vreate awareness was also on the importance of taking care of the environment and the need to cut down on the usage of plastic, as these students are the future of the world.
The Academy also felicitated Mr. Nihchal Israni, Founder Director, Nihchal Israni Foundation; and Chairman, Blue Cross Laboratories Private Limited; for his significant contributions to Education and Healthcare.
Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani, said, “Its great to see the vision of our vice chancellor Dr Sanjay Deshmukh to expand the educational horizons. I believe to succeed in life you have to do better than the best”

Excellent Classes organises 34th edition of HUES, felicitates its meritorious students

by Priya Jadhav  Mumbai, 2 nd  January 2024:   Excellent Classes,   a pioneer coaching institute in Mumbai   organised its 34 th   Annual Program called HUES - Honouring Unique & Excellent Students, where the institute rewarded the hard work and achievement of its students for the year 2023.
